October 2013 Finger Lakes Woodturners Meeting
Finger Lakes Woodturners will hold our regular October club meeting on Thursday, October 17th. The meeting will be held at our normal meeting location and will begin at 6:00pm with a show and share of members work. A quick business meeting will commence at 6:45pm. Following the business meeting we will have our featured event.
This month will FLWT member and past President, Jim Echter with Production Turning Techniques.
Jim will be doing a complete treatise on everything it takes to be successful when turning a large number of items. This will help anyone who is considering turning production items as a business or just for that time when you need to replicate an item on the lathe such as a railing ballaster. Jim is an experienced Production Turner with his own turning business and his demonstrations are always top-notch – Don’t miss it!
