Finger Lakes Woodturners February 2016 Meeting
Finger Lakes Woodturners will hold our regular February club meeting on Thursday, February 18th. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm with a show and share of members work. A quick business meeting will commence at 6:45pm. Following the business meeting we will have our featured event.
This month we will feature FLWT Member Mark Mazzo showing us how to make lidded boxes on the lathe. Mark will show us his process for turning, hollowing and fitting lidded boxes. He will discuss the tools and techniques required as well as possible finish options. Boxes make great gifts, so don’t miss the opportunity to come out and learn how to make a new project …we hope to see everyone at the meeting!
